Challenge
Our client wanted to train their data experts in a hands-on workshop focused on the latest open-source models in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP), providing a deeper understanding of modern Large Language Models (LLM) and their potential applications on company-owned data. The workshop also aimed to evaluate the extensive inhouse data and explore possible LLM applications.
Approach
The workshop introduced the latest open-source models and technologies in NLP, including the Transformer architecture and modern fine-tuning techniques such as Parameter-Efficient Fine-Tuning (PEFT) and Instruction Tuning. Our experts worked with the participants to evaluate the suitability of the company’s data for NLP projects and interactively developed LLM application examples tailored to specific business requirements.
Results
The company was able to build significant expertise in the latest LLM methods through the workshop. Participants gave excellent feedback and rated the workshop highly. Concrete application examples were developed, and the evaluation of inhouse data unveiled new possibilities for LLM applications, enabling the company to optimize its data analyses.
